RARA Summit 2027
Some rooms change what feels possible.
Featured speakers · Round one
Up close and personal.
Women whose work could not have been made by following somebody else’s script. In rooms small enough that you talk to them rather than watch them. Close enough to ask the question a podcast host never would.
to be part of it.
The conversation you remember might happen nowhere near the stage.
At lunch. In the lift. In the water before breakfast. When someone says the thing that makes yours simpler.
Carefully paced.
Never over-programmed.
An easy first evening with no pressure to perform, network or arrive already knowing someone. Come alone if you like. You will not feel alone for long.
Clare Bowditch opens and plays. Big ideas, honest conversation and small groups working through one provocation together.
Identity, work, life and what the next ten years are for. Workshops you choose, then the long lunch nobody wants to leave. A closing session built around the room rather than the biggest name.
Nobody needs anything from you.
One hour each day when nobody says anything.
Phones in the bowl at the door. No talking. No facilitator. No one asking anything of you. Work on your own thing. Make something with no outcome attached. Write, swim, or sit.
Two hours across the summit to think without performing, posting or producing anything for anyone else.
For the woman
everyone else comes to.
You have built something real. People trust your taste, your work and your answer. Your own question is the one that keeps circling.
Being there is enough. No round of introductions where you justify your seat. No pressure to present a polished answer. Bring the thing you have not said out loud yet.
If you want a formula, a funnel or five steps, this is the wrong room. We would rather you knew before you paid.

actually say to me.
Nothing. You are not on a panel and nobody is checking. Come with the question you have not said out loud. That is the only entry requirement.
Yes. Some of the most interesting women in the room have a job. What matters is where you are heading, not what is on the business card.
Everyone thinks that. It is the single most common thing said to me before someone books.
It is. And it isn’t. I have watched women spend four thousand dollars
on a rebrand, then agonise over two nights away. Because the real cost
is rarely just money. It is who has the kids, what gets moved and
whether it is fair to ask.
But waiting has a cost too: another year inside work you have
outgrown, circling the same decision. Two nights might be a small
price to pay for taking your own ambition seriously.
Almost nobody does. The first night is welcome drinks rather than a session, so you have met people before anything formally begins. Come alone if you like. You will not feel alone for long.
worth asking.
Everything you need before you decide whether this is your room.
When and where is RARA Summit?
RARA Summit 2027 takes place at Mondrian Gold Coast from 22–24 February. Welcome drinks are on Monday 22 February, followed by two full summit days on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 February.
What is RARA Summit?
RARA is a creative summit for women rebuilding their work and life around who they are now. It brings together honest conversations, performances, workshops, hosted meals and better company for the questions that decide what comes next.
Who is it for?
Women who work creatively, whatever that means in your field, and who can feel that the current version of their work, brand, ambition or life no longer tells the whole story. You might run a studio or a business, work inside a company, lead a team or be between chapters. The common ground is not a job title or an industry. It is the question: what comes next, and what needs to change so it actually fits?
Who is it not for?
RARA is not a business conference and it is not a masterclass. If you want a step-by-step growth formula, a funnel template or two days of passive note-taking, this is the wrong room. It is participatory, thoughtful and deliberately personal, and it is for women who would rather be asked a better question than handed a template.
What do I actually get from attending?
Not a binder of more information. A clearer view of the decision you came with, language for the next version and a room of women who made the question feel less solitary. The outcome will be personal. It should also be usable.
What is included with my ticket?
Your ticket includes welcome drinks, both full summit days, all main-stage conversations and performances, workshops, the Offline Hour and the hosted meals listed for your ticket type. Travel and accommodation are separate. Full inclusions will be shown clearly when tickets open.
What if I can’t come?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. Up to 14 days before the summit you can pass your ticket to another woman at no charge. Send us her name and email and we will handle the rest.
If you would rather we found someone from the waitlist to take your place, we will do that for you, for a $100 rebooking fee. We would much rather the seat went to someone who can use it than sat empty.
What is the dress code?
Never too much. Wear the thing you bought for something that never happened. This is the something.
Practically: the summit rooms run cold and the Gold Coast in February does not, so bring a layer you actually like, because it will be in every photograph. Welcome drinks are by the pool. Full dress notes arrive before you pack.
Will sessions be recorded?
No. We want what women say when the camera is off. RARA is designed to be experienced in the room.
Monday welcome party followed by two days at Mondrian.
Founding tickets open to the waitlist on 24 August. Not to the grid, not to the public, and we’re not running ads to it.
Burleigh Beach.
A world away.
The room matters. The light matters. Even where you sit for lunch matters. Mondrian is the kind of place where people stay at the table a little longer.
The Place
A hotel on the water, because where you say something changes whether you say it at all.
The People
Speakers close enough to ask. Women beside you who understand the question.
The Pace
Good food, long lunches and enough time for the conversation to keep going.
