Lise & Sarah
What if the idea you've been talking about is actually the thing?
RARA founder Bridget Wood got to ask the DISCO CLUB founders a handful of questions for our speaker series. We asked them to answer separately and disagree as much as they liked. They took that very seriously.
Who would last longer on Survivor, and why?
LiseMe.
SarahNo question. I'd vote myself out.
LiseSarah hates the sun, for starters, and I don't think she has the deceit needed.
SarahI don't think Lise is deceitful at all, but she's so convincing and passionate. And she'd know how to rock a bandana in 73 ways.

What's your most ridiculous recurring argument?
SarahThat Lise is a lazy thick-haired girl. It upsets me greatly. Blessed with amazing locks and doesn't even know how to backcomb it. Preposterous.
LiseThat Sarah says 'honky-dory' instead of 'hunky-dory' and has for 12 years.
What would you nominate each other for an Olympic medal in?
LiseI'd nominate Sarah for video calls.
SarahI do love a FaceTime. I'd nominate Lise for the amount of household chores she can do while on a video call. I swear to God, it's like a cue.

What's a DISCO CLUB moment you'll never forget?
LiseThere are so many: fireworks along the Brisbane River, singing Buses & Trains with Tania Doko (Bachelor Girl), dancing to Celine Dion on a packed dance floor with my mum.
SarahMy 12-year-old daughter telling me backstage that she thought DISCO CLUB would be a bit lame but it was "actually pretty cool". (High praise!)
Which "this is probably a terrible idea" became a very good one?
Meeting a stranger called Lise on the internet in 2014.
Sarah

What's one thing you wish women made more time for?
BothUnstructured time with friends. No pressure, no schedule, no agenda. Just being.
